Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 4 potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 c cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 tbsp of room temperature butter, cut into small pieces
Directions:
- Butter a slow cooker.
- Place half of the sliced potatoes in the bottom layer(See step 1 image).
- Whisk the heavy cream, milk garlic salt and pepper paprika into a bowl Half of this mixture over the potatoes
- Evenly spread half of the cheese over this.
- Layer with the rest of potatoes, cream mixture and cheese.
- Place diced onion on top and add small pats of butter.
- Add to slow cooker that has been covered and cook on low 6-8 hours or until potatoes are tender and cheese is melted.
