How to Make No-Cook Spicy Tofu

Making No-Cook Spicy Tofu is so easy! You just need to combine the ingredients, let them marinate, and voilà!

Ingredients:

  • 1 (14-ounce) block firm tofu, vacuum-packed or drained and pressed (cut into ½-inch cubes)
  • 2 tablespoons sambal oelek
  • 1½ tablespoons spicy chili crisp (Lao Gan Ma brand)
  • 1½ tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lime juice
  • 3 scallions (green parts only) (finely sliced)
  • 3 tablespoons finely crushed unsalted dry roasted peanuts
  • 1 teaspoon finely grated ginger root
  • 1 small garlic clove (grated with a microplane)
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro leaves (finely chopped)

Directions:

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Toss everything gently until the tofu is evenly coated. Cover the bowl and let it marinate in the fridge for at least 2 hours. For the best flavor, let it sit for 8 hours or overnight!
  3. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
