Loaded Guac Bowl and Crispy Tortilla Chips
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/4 red onion, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- Optional: 1 Jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1 lime, juiced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 tsp chili powder (if using)
- Tortilla chips
Directions:
- Prepare the Guacamole: Mash avocado in a bowl using a fork. Toss the diced onion, chopped cilantro, and jalapeño (if using), along with a spritz of lime juice and season with salt and pepper.
- Pico de Gallo: In a separate bowl, toss the diced tomatoes with chopped red onion, minced jalapeño (if using), cilantro leaves,chopped lime juice,salt and pepper. Mix it all well.
- Prepare the Creamy Sauce: In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise and sour cream with 1/4 cup reserved cilantro leaves plus finely minced garlic, salt as well as chili powder if you want it on the more spicy side.
- Serve the Bowl: Spread guacamole on the bottom of a bowl. Finish off with pico de gallo and white sauce. Then sprinkle a few (or maybe more than just a few) crispy tortilla chips over the top!!
