Air Fryer Glazed Donuts Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/4 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- For the milk glaze: 2 to 3 tablespoons of milk
- Vanilla extract, large splash (for glaze)
Directions:
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar with baking powder, soda and salt.
- Combine buttermilk, Greek yogurt, egg, vanilla extract and melted butter in another bowl.
- Add the wet ingredients over dry, mix until just combined.
- Divide the batter among your donut pan.
- Set your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) and cook the donuts for around 5-6 minutes until a toothpick inserted into one comes out clean.
- Cool donuts in pan for a few minutes before transferring to wire rack.
- Glaze powdered sugar, milk and vanilla extract together till smooth.
- Using a fork or slotted spoon, dip the tops of cooled doughnuts into glaze and let excess drip off onto rack.
