How to Make Shrimp Linguine

Ingredients:

  • 8 ounces linguine
  • Shrimp, 1 pound peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp of red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • A quarter cup of chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Parmesan Cheese, shredded (optional)

Directions:

  1. Prepare linguine according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil and garlic in a large skillet over medium heat until clothing. SautĂ© for about 1 minute.
  3. Place the shrimp and chilli flakes into fighting pan. You want to cook it until the shrimp turns pink- about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add the white wine, let it cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in quartered cherry tomatoes and cooked linguine to the skillet Mix everything, making nice with some ‘ol salt and pepper.
  6. Add the fresh parsley and serve with grated Parmesan cheese if desired.

How to Serve Shrimp Linguine

  1. From the skillet to your mouth.. well ok, give it a minute or two before serving this Shrimp Linguine piping hot from the pan. You can top it with a bit more fresh parsley or even some grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Side salad or garlic bread goes great with it!
